If you are reading this the day it comes out, I will be at Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. It will be the 5th trip my husband and I have shared to the park, but I believe it is trip 8 for me. I love the magic and wonder and adventure and fun that Disney holds. I love riding the rides, shopping for the perfect souvenir, and meeting the characters. Since we will be saying hi to the mouse in charge himself on the day this posts, I figured I should pay homage with a mouse craft.

These cute mice are ready for lots of adventures, like racing around a clock. My favorite detail is the pink pom pom nose, but I also love the black yarn tail. The Mouse Around the Clock game is the perfect complement to play while your mice dry. Loaded with 12 initial /M/ sound words, it is fun to race around and hit all of the different hours on the clock. This game is on sale for just $1 (half off!!) until June 14th, making now the perfect time to work on those /M/ articulation and phonics sounds.

Supply List
- Background paper – can be any color you like
- Grey (or color of your choice) muffin cup
- Grey paper
- About 8″ of black yarn
- 2 pink pom poms
- 2 small google eyes
- Scissors
- Glue
Step-by-Step Directions
The first step to this craft is to fold the muffin cup in half and then cut along the fold line. This gives you two little mouse bodies.

Next, you need to cut 4 round mouse ears out of the grey paper. I like to fold the paper so I can cut two ears at a time.

After you have all the cutting done, it is time to assemble your mice. The first step is to glue your muffin cup halves to the paper. The flat side goes on the bottom and the curved side is up to look like the mouse’s back. I like to leave a little space under the left corners of the cups to put the tail ends under, but that isn’t completely necessary.

The last set of steps can really be done in any order. You just have to glue the tails, ears, noses, and eyes on. This is the order I chose, but there’s really no right answers here. 🙂

And that’s it! You have made an easy-peasy set of mice to enjoy.
